Stressful?   Yes!!!!

My interest only loan is going to reset July 1st according to the 6 month WSJ libor rate. So I started to check out rates for refinancing my own home in February.

What a stressful challenge.  I spoke with many lenders in my city including one I have done business with several times.  But, I thought this time I would also check all of the fliers I got in the mail and the internet advertising.

I also, and am still, checking every day on bankrate.com and zillow(rates that have closed ).

My experience is not over and has not been pleasant.  Most of the internet ads and the mail fliers are not what they seem. I get good faith estimates from lenders and the closing costs are all over the place..varying a couple thousand dollars in some cases.

Some of these fees are negotiable.  Make sure the good faith estimates are dated and the interest rate is the same as was stated.

News reports are good lately...home sales have increased in the last few months in Palm Beach county.  Home prices have inched up a little. 

Also, the weather is gorgeous!!!
